About Troop 117
Troop 117 serves the Shingle Springs and Latrobe area in northern California. The Chartered Organization for Troop 117 is the Elks Lodge of Placerville, CA
We provide a great program for boys ages 11 through 17. Boy Scouts is all about developing leadership and citizenship in the great outdoors through camping, hiking and other activities. Boys will not only learn to tie ropes, light fires, cook meals, pitch tents and guide themselves with a compass but they will also learn about teamwork and leadership.
